Simona worked in the business world for many years after graduating from Quinnipiac University.  After having children, she spent much of her time volunteering and eventually became employed by Guilford Public Schools as assistant coordinator of their youth mentoring program.  She helps to match volunteers from the local community with children of all ages who could use caring adults in their lives.  Over the past 20 years, the program has grown to an amazing group of over 150 committed mentors, making a real difference in the lives of young people.  She loves being based at Guilford High School in her role where she makes valuable connections for teens as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up.  The program is very near and dear to her heart and she is proud to be part of the mission to support and encourage students in the crucial transition from childhood to adulthood.

She is thrilled to be a member of the Shoreline Ballet family where every student is valued and respected and where the talented teachers also serve as incredible mentors in a warm and caring after school environment.

Simona grew up spending summers with family in Italy and has a passion for anything Italian.  She and her husband live in Guilford and have two grown children.
