Incorporation of all previous levels with the addition of new ballet vocabulary. Students further develop their knowledge and skill during weekly technique classes that incorporate a more extensive ballet barre as well as center work. Classes at this level are extended to 1 hour. In order to progress it is recommended that students attend 2 classes per week.
Students must turn 7 by September and have completed at least 1 year of Level 1 or equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Beginner Ballet Level 2: Ballet Technique Ages 7-8
Advanced Ballet Level 2: Ballet technique Ages 9-10
Level 3-Ballet Technique Ages 10-11

Students will gain a broader understanding of the body in relationship to more complex combinations during barre and center exercises. In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend three classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms.
Students must turn 9 by September and have completed at least 1 year of Level 2 or equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Incorporation of all previous levels with the addition of new ballet vocabulary. Students will be introduced to pre-pointe this year and focus on developing strength through age appropriate exercises that target the muscles of the calves, ankles and feet in order to prepare them for pointe work as they advance during the year. Pointe work is introduced to those students who demonstrate sufficient strength. Exercises will be skill and level appropriate. In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend three ballet classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms.
Students must turn 11 by September and have completed at least 1 year of Level 3 or equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Level 4-Ballet Technique Ages 11-13
Beginner Tween Ballet Ages 11+
This class is for the teen dancer with little to no ballet training. It will introduce the basics of ballet technique and emphasize proper posture and form. It is recommended that students attend an additional dance class in another dance form to supplement their training.
Modern 2: Intermediate Ages 7-8
An intermediate level class that continues the exploration of modern dance. This class encourages self-expression, exploration and social development. It is recommended that students also attend a weekly ballet class to supplement this dance form.
Students must turn 7 by September.
Modern 3: Advanced Ages 8-10
This is an advanced beginner level class that builds upon technique’s gained in the previous introductory class. Students learn to combine expressive elements of modern technique while also incorporating creative ways of moving.
Students are encouraged to be enrolled in either a Level 2 or 3 ballet technique class. Students must turn 9 by September.
Tap 2 &3: Intermediate Ages 7-9+
More complex rhythms and combinations are introduced at this intermediate level for tap. It is recommended that students also attend a weekly ballet class to supplement this dance form.
Students must turn 7 by September and have completed Beginner Tap or an equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Tap 4: Advanced Ages 10+
This class is for the more experienced and advanced student. Complex combinations, musicality and rhythms make this class a challenging and fun experience.
Students must turn 10 by September and have completed Intermediate Tap or an equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Musical Theatre Dance Ages 9-12+
This fun and energetic class will focus on developing the form of theatrical dance. Students will learn a combination of skills such as acting, dialogue an dance. Students will learn a variety of dances from popular musicals.
