Incorporation of all previous levels with the addition of new ballet vocabulary. Students will further develop their skills, artistry and strength while developing their technique. Pointe work is included in weekly technique classes. This level is for the experienced student who wishes to further their studies in ballet. In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend four classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms.
Students must complete at least 1 year or equivalent of Level 4 technique. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Level 5-Ballet Technique Ages 13-15+
Level 6-Ballet Technique Ages 14-16+
For the dedicated student, this level is for the intermediate to advanced. Incorporation of all previous levels with increased mastery of technique and combinations. Attention to pointe work and the fine tuning of musicality, phrasing and technique will be a priority. It is recommended that students attend four classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms.

modern 5: Intermediate Ages 12-14+
MODERN 6: INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED 14-16+
This is for the intermediate to advanced dancer and further develops skills in versatility and movement potential. Elements of classical ballet, modern and improvisation are further developed.
Students are required to be enrolled in either a Level 4 or 5 ballet technique class. Please see Director for proper class placement.
Contemporary Level 7/8: Advanced Ages 15+
This is our highest Level of modern. Elements of contemporary ballet and modern choreography are incorporated. This class is open to Level 6 & 7 ballet students only.

Tap 4: Advanced Ages 10+
This class is for the more experienced and advanced student. Complex combinations, musicality and rhythms make this class a challenging and fun experience.
Beginner Tween Ballet Ages 11+
This class is for the teen dancer with little to no ballet training. It will introduce the basics of ballet technique and emphasize proper posture and form. It is recommended that students attend an additional dance class in another dance form to supplement their training.
Shoreline Ballet Company Level 5-Level 8

Shoreline Ballet students in Levels 5-Levels 8 may audition for the Shoreline Ballet Company. This is a wonderful opportunity for dedicated dancers to train and perform outside of regular class time. Students will be selected based on skill and dedication. Students must be registered for either Level 4, 5,6 or 7 and take at least 2 ballet technique classes per week as well as 1 Pointe class per week. Students are required to attend ALL rehearsals. Students will have the opportunity to learn original choreography by Shoreline Ballet faculty and guest artists. Students will perform Contemporary, Modern and Classical Ballet choreography.
